Cool project can’t wait to see the result! I m planning to solder a mpcie dual micro sd card so I could add more storage inside Lenovo mix 2 8 tablet. Can U confirm that this will work with the internal USB port? Thanks

maybe this is possible. I dont know if the M.2 port has everything to power the mini pci express card. But i think mpcie uses the same data connection like an USB and these pins are well known so far. Like i wrote in other posts before the biggest problem is the power source. there is from stock only a 3.3V source available. for high power modules like the USB modems it does not provide enough voltage and maybe current too. So you have to be brave to test it with yours and give a feedback.
