In the dark it is not providing enough light to drive safe. The stock front light of the city is driven by the full Voltage of the battery which is around 42V. So you need a light which can handle these voltages. The new leds have 10W. Easiest way is to unsolder the wires from both lamps and solder the wire to the new cnsunnylight module.
