One of my favorite things to do is to explore local traditions in other countries including they way how they made it. So i already decided in april this year to visit a sake brewery. I had to be remembered that unfortunately April is not the best month to visit a brewery. The reason is the availability of the rice which will be gathered during autumn. So after going back to fukushima prefecture this time i got some appointment with the owners of a small but nice sake brewery. We first had some green tea and cake at their house, which is the typical starting of an appointment in japan, and visited the brewery itself later on. The smell all around this area was amazing. Due to this small size they store about 100.000 litre of sake. Surprisingly the owner mrs. Yamada brought me one bottle on the next day home. So, if someone wanna try, just step by.
