Houchou

This is how to get to the japanese knifeshop in Koriyama 🙂 it is a nice small shop. The owner is very kind. I bought a knife from seki (gifu prefecture near osaka, this is where the best blacksmith are working, even the samurais katanas came from there since hundreds of years) there, including lifelong sharpening service at his shop. Whenever i don’t plan to come back soon ^^

Koinobori

About four weeks before a special national holiday in may, the japanese start to hang flags with koi fish on their houses. These pictures here are from the town community over a river in Sukagawa, Fukushima.

Strange prices

I don’t know why they have such uncommon prices. I just know i hate all these small coins in my wallet because of that  🙂

German language class

One week ago the owner of Deutschschule Franz asked me for assistance for teaching some german language to some japanese students. So yesterday i attended to a beginner class for two hours. Every japanese was very surprised about me. Especially about my present for them (Haribo Gummibären & Milka chocolate)
